Skillet Chili by Me

I make this dish several times each fall and winter and simply love it.

I use an all steel or cast iron pan as it will finish in the oven. 

This will serve 2-3

1/2 lb ground beef browned

1/2 packet of taco seasoning, or cumin and garlic powder

8 oz. jarred salsa

15 oz. can, rinsed black beans

15 oz. canned or frozen corn

Cook for ten minutes to marry the flavors

top with cheddar cheese and place into 350 oven for 15-20 min

top with sliced scallions

sour cream on the side 

Option two, roll into burritos, add cheese, bake and then top with fresh scallions.

Either way, these are hearty, warming and delicious!
